The plot was still being cleared in May 2026. However, we were simultaneously putting transplants into the ground, which actually loved the summer heat, and did well, so long as we could keep up with the watering.

In the meantime, we are working on germinating seeds for the winter crops and tidying up the polytunnel, to give us a head start on spring planting for 2027.

So we are loving what we have achieved, and looking forward to greater productivity in the months to come.
